  • You can live without PostScript — this is non-PostScript. The T1600 PS / T1700 PS are the step-ups for PostScript.
  • You want occasional letter/A3 prints from the front input tray — works fine but you'd never replace an office printer with this.
  • You're stepping up from a T120 — operators adapt to the touchscreen quickly, expect a week of new workflow muscle memory.

  • You need to scan large originals — this is print-only. The MFP equivalent is the T2530 / T2600.
