The Lexmark M3350 (38S0520) is a single-function mono laser printer for small offices and teams of 5-25 that print 2,000-15,000 pages a month and need 50 ppm in a desktop chassis with the convenience of a 4.3-inch color touchscreen on a print-only unit. It prints at up to 50 ppm (47 ppm A4) with 6-second first page out, and is rated for a 175,000-page monthly duty cycle (Lexmark recommends 2,000-20,000/month). Standard input is 350 sheets across the 250-sheet tray and 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, expandable with optional 550-sheet trays. Print resolution tops at 1200 x 1200 dpi. Replacement toner yields up to 31,000 pages, which keeps the per-page cost tight for the volume tier. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0; Wi-Fi is built into the M3350dw. The thing buyers regret: ordering an M3350 when they actually needed scan-to-email or fax. The XM3350 is the MFP version on the same engine — same 50 ppm, adds the ADF, scanner, and copy/scan/fax functions for a few hundred more. If you'll ever need to scan, get the XM3350 from the start. For pure print at 50 ppm with a real touchscreen on a desktop chassis, the M3350 is the right call.
