Every spec, no guessing
The Xerox Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press is a cut-sheet production inkjet engine built for transactional printers, direct-mail houses, and book/manual producers running 750,000 to 2,000,000 pages a month. It prints at 182 ppm letter (10,920 images/hour), 197 ppm A4, 100 ppm A3, and 84 ppm at the maximum 14.33 x 20.5-inch sheet size, with a 6,000,000-page monthly duty cycle. Resolution is 600 x 600 spots per inch with multi-bit vector half-toning and four drop sizes (Small, Medium, Large, Max). Paper handling is the Brenva's strong suit: 7-inch by 10-inch minimum to 14.33 x 20.5-inch maximum sheet, 60-220 gsm plain or inkjet-treated uncoated stock, four feed modules with two 2,500-sheet drawers each for a total 20,000-sheet capacity, all load-while-run. Auto perfecting (4/4 duplex) runs at full rated speed. The Xerox FreeFlow Print Server (V22.0, dual 3.1 GHz Intel Xeon, 64 GB RAM, 5x 1TB drives) handles PDF, PDF/VT-1, PDF/X-1a/3/4, IPDS, PostScript 1/2/3, JPEG, TIFF, PPML, and VIPP natively (ASCII/PCL/LCDS via third-party transform). Optional inline finishing is the CP Bourg BDFNx Booklet Maker (22-sheet capacity, optional corner-edge stapling, loop stitch, and cover feeder). Footprint is 22 feet 4.5 inches wide by 4 feet 5.5 inches deep by 6 feet 8 inches tall (6.82m x 1.36m x 2.03m) at 6,258 lb base configuration. The thing buyers regret: assuming Brenva replaces a CMYK toner press for graphic-arts work. It doesn't. Brenva is a transactional engine — plain or inkjet-treated stock only, no coated, no glossy, no synthetics. Pair it with a Color 1000i or Iridesse for the saturated CMYK side of the operation.
