The KIP SYS760C is the multifunction sibling to the 750C — same 2-roll, top-stacking color print engine, same 8 ppm B&W and 6 ppm color D-size output, but with copy and scan added through an integrated KIP 720 CIS scanner. This is the machine for an AEC shop or reprographer who needs to take in a marked-up D-size drawing, scan it to PDF, copy it for the field, and print revisions back out — all from one footprint. The 15.6-inch touchscreen handles the routing to USB, network folders, or email. The 1 thing buyers regret: not stepping up to the CCD-based 790C scanner if they scan a lot of color or photo-quality originals. The 720 CIS scanner is fast and accurate for line drawings and standard color, but if you're scanning photographic site shots or fine-art originals on a regular basis, the CCD optics on the 2300 are noticeably sharper. For pure technical document work, the 720 is more than enough.
